Eventually I will blog about something else. Eventually, but not yet. I am still in shock at the devastation that I see and overwhelmed by the stories I’m hearing from all my family and friends.
Last night I was looking for a new scripture memory verse for the year long exercise Beth Moore is leading, and I found these:
”You’ll use the old rubble of past lives to build anew, rebuild the foundations from out of your past. You’ll be known as those who can fix anything, restore old ruins, rebuild and renovate, make the community livable again.” Isaiah 58:12 (The Message)
“Relieve the troubles of my heart and free me from my anguish.” Psalm 25:17 (NIV)
This is what I am praying for every survivor– every person who lost a loved one, a home or a job.
