I’m a New York Times’ bestselling author, syndicated humor columnist, and blogger living in Mississippi circa 1937. I’m only a short drive to Jackson, MS or Memphis, TN, i.e., “Civilization.” (We do have the internet, y’all.) My three daughters keep me laughing and/or gagging every day. I started this blog to document our lives together and as a way to make other moms laugh and realize it REALLY is funny, when it’s happening to someone other than YOU!
“Ketchup Is A Vegetable And Other Lies Moms Tell Themselves,” is a collection of humor essays covering topics from discipline, and potty training to taking road trips with your family to the sacrifices mothers make for their kids.
The second book is a collection of my readers favorite humor columns. You can buy “A Second Helping” for your Nook or Kindle.
The Fam
Zebulicious and I got married when we were *twelve-years-old, which is legal in Alabama and Arkansas– lucky for us we lived in Alabama! We were married for seven years before we started having babies. Aubrey was born in 2004 in Auburn, AL, Emma joined the fam in 2006 in Savannah, GA and Sadie showed up at the end of 2008 in Charleston, SC. (I was seriously worried that she was going to be born in ’09 and then they wouldn’t all be even numbers. I’m serious.)
* That was sarcasm.
