Because she IS actually a baby. She will “cry” like this in her carseat or in the grocery store and when I ask her if she’s okay she just laughs and says, “I been baby, Momma!” My mother-in-law begged me to capture it on camera, so I did!
Sadie Said: It’s ridiculous.
Here’s what Sadie thinks of her Momma’s haters. (That is MY mother laughing maniacally in the background. Can you tell she thinks Sadie is so cute?)
Preschool Dropout
This is what I’m workin’ with.
5 Little Monkeys
I walked in the room and Emma said, “Momma, you can be the Mommy Monkey!”
Yeah, pretty sure I already am.
Sadie’s Antics: Brushing Teeth
Yes, she is always that happy…even if she’s sitting in time out. And yes, she laughs like that every time we brush them!
Veruca Sweetheart
The girls and I have watched Willy Wonka (the real one) about 100 times in the last week. I just walked into the kitchen and had this conversation with Emma, ran and grabbed my camera and made her repeat herself.
I realize she’s probably going to have to go to speech therapy if I don’t start correcting her pronunciation…but For. The. Love.
It’s so flippin’ sweet.
Emma Sings: California Gurls
I have no idea how my 3-year-old downloaded this song to my iPhone. I also have no idea how to listen to music on my phone whilst using another application, which apparently is possible. As evidenced by her playing tic-tac-toe and beating the computer while learning all the words to Katy Perry and Snoop Dogg’s collaborative “California Gurls.”
Please to enjoy…(this is not a typo but a subtle homage to Joel McHale, just thought I’d save you the email.) And wait for about the 45 second mark, that’s when she really brings it. Fine, fresh, fierce.
