Emma: Momma, did my Daddy build dis whole wuld?
Emma Said: Botta Getta
Actual words to Auburn cheer I taught Aubrey and Emma last week:
Botta getta botta getta botta getta bah! Rah rah rah, sis boom bah! Weegle weegle WARRRRR EAGLE, kick em’ in the butt big blue, HEY!
What Emma said to Aubrey this morning:
I’m gonna kick your big blue butt!
Aubrey: MOMMA!
Emma: (giggling like a maniac) I just shoking you! (That’d be joking…)

Yesterday I took Noah to tee tee in a public restroom. He is not tall enough to stand and go without a stool, so I just support him under his arms and let him stand on the rim. He started to go and then started dancing so he could watch his stream “dance.” I told him to stop, but he was having such a good time that he either didn’t hear me, or simply chose to ignore me. In a very stern voice I said, “Stop it, Noah.” He did indeed stop and then asked me, “Why you talking like a dinosaur?”
Laura’s kids are cracking me up!
Emma’s Antics
Sadie had a check up this morning and my friend, Sara, watched Emma for me while we were gone. When I got back Emma was next door and needed to use the restroom, she went inside and when I didn’t see her for a few minutes I went in after her. Emma was dancing with Tristan, one of our very favorite boys in the whole world (and possibly Aubrey’s future husband). As I walked in the door, Tristan yelled, “PANTIES!” and threw Emma’s panties across the living room and into the kitchen.
I’m a little concerned about Emma…

Aubrey Said: Aww, Sadie!
Sadie Plum is growing up fast. She army crawls all over the house as fast as her sisters can walk, and has turned into Mommy’s Little Hoover. I spend a good portion of everyday sweeping and vacuuming invisble crumbs, but somehow (probably has something to do with her two sister) she always finds something to chomp on.
Sadie is saying Ma-Ma and Da-Da…quite indiscriminately, I might add, and Aubrey could not be prouder. “Oh Momma, her is learning words and how to talk!” Aubrey will squeal as Sadie holds a stuffed monkey and calls it “Ma-Ma.” (I know, I know…easy mistake.)
This morning I was changing Sadie’s diaper on her changing table and Aubrey was in her face cooing and kissing her. Sadie was excited by Aubrey’s attention and flailing her arms around, when she socked Aubrey right in the nose with her little fist. Most kids would cry, or be mad…not Aubrey. She said, “Awww, Sadie! Momma her just punched me right in the nose! She is gettin’ big and learning how to be tough!”
And so it begins…
Momma Drama: YAWN!
I’ve been playing Whack-a-Mole with my kids for the last 36 hours, I have YET to get all the little rascals down at the same time. I am tired. I left the house at 7 this morning and came home long enough to change Sadie’s diaper, feed Emma lunch, then I was off and running again. My Mommy Time today consisted of going dropping off dry cleaning and going to get my teeth cleaned…I realized half-way to the dentist office that one of Aubrey’s shoes was stuck in between the hood of my car and the windshield.
Is it bedtime yet?
