I hate to tell you but what you’re describing about never feeling like you have enough time is true no matter (1) how much time you have, and (2) even if you don’t have kids. I think it’s just the state of being of a creative writer (emphasis on the word ‘creative’)

There is not a roadmap for the life goals you have chosen.. it’s pioneer work, it’s swinging a big blade thru tropical forrest, not following a clear path worn by others…there are thorns, insects, potholes and snakes along the way. You do what you can when you can and patch yourself when necessary. In retrospect you have reached hundreds of thousands of people, written 3 or 4 books, been on the Amazon Best Seller list beside Tina
Fey, maintained a very interesting web site, made money and raised three incredible children, 4 if you count Zebulicious. I say Keep on Keepin on Girl and don’t forget to breathe.

I heart you so much. And this was helpful. Because some days, I sit at my desk and I panic because oh, the pressure. And I have a notebook, but I need to be cooler and more generous about what goes in there. The notebook tip and putting everything in just might change. my. life.
