Kids are funny. This cracked me up and instead of cleaning my house I made a video, uploaded it to youtube then embedded the link here for you. It only killed about 15 minutes but that was 15 minutes I was technically “working” and not cleaning… so there’s that. And Sadie made me laugh and that’s always fun.

New reader here. Found you when I saw your book on Amazon on the same page as mine. Congrats on your book! It is on my wish list and I plan to by it very soon if not even sooner.
As for the referencing of whatever red drink she’s holding (Gatorade? oh, I get it, “gator”), I too start calling things by the wrong names after a few drinks. Usually it is The Husband, but honestly, he’s used to it by now.

Hilarious! Both my kids had to jump in my lap to watch after hearing Sadie’s sweet video. Ava cannot pronounce her R’s, so just about everything she says sounds like she’s a true, southern belle. dahling, shuga…alligatah.

Haha! That’s awesome. We give our kids shots of “alligator.” Because giving a small child a sugary sports beverage in a shot glass is way more acceptable than drinking it out of a bottle. 😉

Adorable! LOVE it. Reminds me of the time when my son Hunter was three and he asked me if he could have some “Chucky-chucky-larms.” (Lucky Charms). I did the exact same thing you did… stopped everything and grabbed my cam-corder. Got it on video. Made him say it several times just to savor the moment. Precious.
