Make them do all the work. Then you can totally sit around and eat bon-bons and watch your “stories” all day. Duh.

Yes! Love it! Been using this method for a couple of years myself, and it rocks. I also love your “sweep-a-meal-later” plan from a while back . . . it has changed my life.
This was super cute!I think we need a shot of mom eating bonbons! I have been giving my kids chores to do for the last year and they are actually loving it. The “cleaning” they do will probably need to be re-cleaned within an hour, but at least they are trying and getting in the habit, right? I am sure they will not love chores in another year, but I will take what I’ve got now!
My kids always want to trade jobs with me. They think I keep all the “fun” jobs for myself. Like sweeping, vacuuming and folding clothes. Cleaning their room is apparently torture. I get away with a lot by occasionally trading with them. I clean their room and they’ll do dishes or fold clothes. It’s NEVER like I would do it, but beggars can’t be choosers!

Please tell me what kind of vacuum she is using. I MUST HAVE ONE! My kids are willing but the dirt devil is junk and my big vacuum is too heavy and bulky for them.

Question….how is your child’s room that clean????? Too cute, especially half naked:)
Robin says
She hardly ever plays in it. All the “good” toys are in the Big Guhls’ room and it is a wreck!!

Now to work on moving past that one spot…

I like to get one room in my house spotless then just sit there and pretend the rest of my house is that clean. It works for a little while.

I do this all the time…and I have two boys! One gets the vacuum and the other gets the Dustbuster. I’ll let them loose and go and check Facebook.
