My children are back from a sleepover. (THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to my friend who VOLUNTARILY took all three of my kids. She may never do it again, or have children her-own-self now– but last night and this morning were quiet and wonderful.)
I just cooked lunch for my family with the goal of getting everyone’s belly full and sleepy as I attempt to thwart the dreaded Sleepover Hangover. I was just standing here minding my own bidnass when Aubrey said, “Momma, when will I be old enough to skydive??”
Me: WHAAAAAAAA?
Aubrey: When will I be old enough to SKYDIVE?
Me: When you are old enough to pay your own bills and carry your own health insurance.
Please someone explain to me where THAT came from…

Did I win yet? Is this a ‘relevant’ comment? Just pick me! And I usually read this in my feed reader (do I sound like I know what I’m talking about? I do not) so I never saw before that you have a thingie that says “like me- don’t lick me.” What if someone licks you? Ew. Don’t lick me either.
Am I the winner? Can I win a thousand dollars instead? That would work better for me right now…

What about parasailing? It is much safer and cooler since you are in a boat and then over water! Parasailing is on mine and momma’s bucket list! Come join us when we go!
