Yesterday, while I cleaned winter clothes out of the girls’ closets, Sadie made it rain in the laundry room. That’s roughly $37 in nickels, dimes and pennies that she lovingly showered all over the laundry room. (Quarters are practically paper money in our house. We don’t just leave that kind of money laying around.) Oh and about 73 dryer sheets. Silver lining: the laundry room smells fabulous.

Stopping by from LBS!
So this is awful. My kids know not to do this anymore (thankfully) but my cats eat toilet paper like you wouldn’t believe. I am forever cleaning up half chewed, shredded and/or vomited up toilet paper. It’s a fabulous exercise first thing in the morning… especially when you realize you have nothing left to use for yourself.

Is it awful that it THRILLS me that other people have kids as strange as mine?? My oldest used to eat sand and dirt ALL the time. And we lived at the beach. And people would be like, “Excuse, ma’am… your kid is eating sand.” And I’d be like, “I KNOW! WE’RE AT THE BEACH. IT’S WHAT WE DO. KEEP WALKING!”
Thank you Sara. I needed that.
