The girls love to take my iPhone into their bedroom for Dance Parties and for this very reason I have downloaded two albums of KidzBop songs from iTunes. But apparently, on more than one occasion, they have chosen to listen to my work out mix instead.
While changing Sadie’s diaper tonight and preparing to tuck the chunky monkey into bed… she sang:
When I collapsed in laughter on her bedroom floor she yelled, “DOP WAPPIN’ AT ME! EE NAH PUNNY!”
Oh, I beg to differ.
If me and my chicks make you LOL, please take LITERALLY 5 seconds and vote for me as one of Circle of Moms Top 25 Funniest Moms!
(And to save some of you an e-mail that was The Black-Eyed Peas “My Humps.” And yes, I realize this speaks volumes about my parenting skillz.)

Confession: my kids know almost all the words to quite a few songs they maybe shouldn't. Ooops. And is it horrible that I love when I hear my 6 year old sing "Shawty's like a melody in my head…. Nananana everyday like my iPod stuck on replay, yeaaaah." Of course, his version sounds more like a country song.

As long as she doesn't know what "my humps" means yet, then you're all good – no bad parenting title for you! LOL

I heard about your blog from Jennifer Engelbrecht, who used to be my neighbor/babysitter. I'm only 18, but I LOVE reading your blogs! I laugh every time I read one of your posts. Some of the things you say/do remind me so much of my mom.. your parenting skills are awesome/hilarious!

This is why I can't let my kids play with my iphone anymore. My running mix is racy, to say the least. Nothing else makes me want to keep moving though instead of quitting and just heading to Starbucks, or Whataburger.
Sadie sounds adorable. Too cute!

Why haven't the geniuses at Apple figured out a way just to lock your iTunes? B/c I'm having SERIOUS issues with my kids and my grown-ups tunes!
