Aubrey is totally serious about her singing career. At our church’s Christmas program she was furious because she said the little girl standing next to her sang too loud and “Nobody is going to be able to hear ME!” I explained to her that nobody was coming to hear HER but to hear the entire choir and that she should just sing louder. Instead, she made faces and rolled her eyes at the girl next to her during the performance. Then at the reception she walked around to every group of adults in the fellowship hall and said, “Would you like to hear my solo?” I don’t know how you get out of that one– neither did they SO, just about every adult that made eye contact with Aubrey got their own private performance.

That is hilarious! My son (5) has the talent to do that but seems to have a real problem singing where anyone can hear him besides his family. Very frustrating, for a church musician mom.

I love how Zeb is in the background of these performances, oblivious to his surroundings.
Funny!
