I took the “big girls” (Aubrey 4 and Emma 2) to the Strawberry Festival at Boone Hall Plantation this morning to get a little Mommy-Time.
Emma started the day off with a bang by super-gluing her toes together…

She actually pried them apart before I could finishing Googling “super glue solvent.”
(FYI, the general consensus was acetone.)
We had a great time at the festival. We had to walk about 12 miles, in Crocs and flip-flops, through fields and black dirt, in the hot sun to get to the actual entrance. My kids were thrilled to eat hot dogs and cotton candy and play with friends. By the time we got home, our feet were so dirty they no longer qualified as “Wal-Mart feet.”
